Public History
Going Beyond . . .
Public History goes beyond the walls of the traditional classroom and engages with the general public. Students in the Public History program will learn about museums, exhibits, historic preservation, oral history, archives, statues and monuments, historic homes, and more as they explore concepts of applied history.
Students have three degree options in the Public History program:
- B.A. in History with an Emphasis in Public History
- M.A. in History with an Emphasis in Public History
