Tuesday, August 20 (Whitehead Auditorium)

11:00AM: RHYTHM SECTION AUDITIONS (for Jazz Ensembles & Combos) 
Auditions will consist of playing the Prepared Pieces as a complete rhythm section

11:30AM: JAZZ COMBO AUDITIONS (for All Instruments, including Rhythm) 
Auditions will consist of playing the melody and improvising on Bb Blues (letter A in the Prepared Pieces)

12:30PM: SAXOPHONE, TRUMPET and TROMBONE AUDITIONS (for Jazz Ensembles) 
Auditions will consist of the Prepared Pieces (available below)

Prepared Pieces

All students will be required to play Prepared Pieces as part of their audition.
