With assistance from the University President, Council on Staff Affairs (COSA) and VSU Retirees Association sponsor the Annual Retired Faculty and Staff Luncheon. In the mid-1990s, a group of staff members began planning for a long-term method to recognize employees during their careers and into retirement. They began a tradition on August 9, 2001 with the dedication of the Retirement Walkway and first Retiree Luncheon.
